George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve Review
After a six-year hiatus, this cask-strength Tennessee whisky made a recent comeback, arriving at a relatively mild cask strength of 46 percent ABV. Have no fears about a lack of flavor or concentration — the nose opens with deep and alluring vanilla notes, followed by sweet caramelized nuts. The palate has a heavily charred profile and reveals the complexity gained during its extensive maturation. Sit with this whiskey for some time and allow it to evolve in glass.
