Corey Creek White Cabernet Franc 2022 Review
Winemaker Marin Brennan is making magic on the North Fork of Long Island. She's pushing the envelope at Corey Creek, a small-batch offshoot of the popular Bedell Cellars, by embracing uncommon grapes and implementing innovative techniques — like fermenting Chardonnay on seashells. We wait with anticipation for her next idea, but until then check out this amazing white Cabernet Franc. It has a wonderful nose of faint green pepper, honeysuckle, and sliced apples. The palate brings soft peach notes and a great waxy texture, while retaining vibrant acidity. It’s amazing how a white Cab Franc can still capture the essence of this red grape.
