Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir 2019 Review
Moorooduc is a small, cool-climate region on the Mornington Peninsula, a little over an hour from Melbourne on the southern tip of Australia. Here, the family-run Moorooduc Estate works with three vineyards making Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The region's cooling maritime breezes really come through in the freshness of this wine. It has a savory nose with dark fruit notes and a hint of spice. The palate brings bright red fruits like tangy pomegranate seeds and cherries coupled with mushrooms and wild herbs. The palate is soft and balanced with great natural acidity and a unique depth. It’s a complex and engaging Pinot.
