Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 'Karia' Chardonnay 2021 Review
Stag’s Leap Cellars holds a special place in our wine history in the United States. Along with a few other wineries it gained high scores among French wine critics in the late '70s bringing international attention to the Napa Valley. In 2006, then-owner, Warren Winiarski launched the Karia Chardonnay. To this day the wine sings and is a wonderful reflection of sense of place and balance. This is a standard bearing Chardonnay with soft, inviting oak aromas. The mouthfeel is powerful and grippy yet vibrant and alive. The medium natural acidity brings so much depth filling the core of the wine.
