Dewar's Double Double 21 Year Old Mizunara Oak Cask Finish Review
After malt and grain whiskies were aged separately for 21 years, Dewar's master blender Stephanie Macleod worked her magic, composing a blend, and returning the spirit to cask before a final resting period in Japanese Mizunara oak. The barrel influence provides its signature sandalwood note which couples perfectly with the spirit’s citrusy, apricot-forward, and vanilla-kissed profile. This is an excellent blended Scotch.
